Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the app Video Compressor & MP3 Maker ("the App", "we", "us") handles information.

1. Your videos and audio stay on your device

The App compresses, converts and trims video and audio files locally on your phone. We do not upload, collect, store or share your videos, audio files or their content. Results are saved on your device (and in your gallery when you choose "Save"), and you can delete them at any time. The list of recent jobs is stored only on your device.

2. Permissions

• Photos / videos / media – to let you pick videos and save the results to your gallery.
• Internet – only to load ads and the ad settings file.
• Advertising ID / App Tracking Transparency (iOS) – asked only for ads; you can refuse and the App works the same.

3. Advertising

The App is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device information and ad-interaction data to show, limit and measure ads, and (only with your consent where required) to personalize them. See How Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

In the EEA, UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws, the App shows Google's consent form before any ad is requested. You can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

4. Content you process

Please only process content you own or have permission to use. The App does not download content from websites or other platforms.

5. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Security and retention

Your files never reach our servers. Data collected by Google for advertising is kept according to Google's own retention policies.

7. Your rights

You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the App. For questions or data requests, email appsmedia888@gmail.com.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
